We are committed to continuous education and clinical research.
The Dental & Implantology Unit has been awarded assistance to carry out research within the implant science field.
The first project, supported by Branemark Integration, looked at the quality of life improvement of patients who received two implants in the lower jaw to support the lower denture. The clinical part of this project is complete.
The second project is being undertaken in collaboration with Prof. Ann Wemberg of Malmö University and is supported by OSPOL AB.
The final project is sponsored by Dyna Engineering BV of Holland. We are looking at various aspects (quality of life and economics) of a new supra-structure designed to immediately load a denture on lower jaw implants. This project is also currently ongoing.
