Intravenous sedation

IV sedation is a technique whereby a consultant anaesthetist delivers medication through a vein which relaxes the patient to such an extent that he or she can tolerate dental treatment easily with little or no recall of the event. It is an extremely safe procedure which we provide. On average we carry out 150-200 IV sedation cases per year.

I had two implants inserted. The procedure was very smooth, just the initial shots to get numb was all I felt. I had no pain and very little discomfort. I was particularly impressed with the high level of attention given to hygiene and sterility at the clinic and also for each step of the implant surgery. I highly recommend the clinic. Thank you for the excellent service.
