A patient noted that his filling had broken and was sore. He requested another tooth coloured filling. The molar tooth had been restored with a white filling that did not match his tooth colour or shape. This was removed and replaced with an aesthetic filling using three shades of tooth coloured resin and a stain. The end result pleased the patient.
