When booking your appointment for the first time, you may ask to see a specific dentist or if you do not have a preference, the front desk staff may ask you what you think you need. This way they can guide you to meet the appropriate person for the first time. For example, if you have a wisdom tooth problem, they will advise you in to see the oral surgeon and if you think you need braces they will book you in to see the orthodontist.
