Single implants

Single-tooth implants can be used in people who are missing one or more teeth. An implant is surgically placed into the jawbone. After the bone fuses to the implant (known as osseointegration), it acts as a new "root" upon which a crown (cap) will be fitted to replace your missing tooth. The single implant may sometimes be restored immediately with a temporary crown on the day of surgery, however should the dentist be concerned about healing, the temporary or final crown is fitted a a short while after the surgery (three weeks to four months). Single implants look and feel like natural teeth and if well cared for, may last for decades.

I went through a long lasting restoration process and there is one thing for sure: I have never met any kind of dental professionals and staff so committed and capable. Not everything was easy-going but whenever a problem occurred they did everything (!) to resolve it. Accompanied by friendliness and caring, which is hard to find anywhere in the world.
