In our unit, we use Digital Smile Design (DSD), a modern way of planning your new smile using digital technology. With photographs and 3D scans of your teeth and face, we can design a smile that suits your features and personality. The test drive is fitted in your mouth so you will be able to see how your smile could look before starting treatment, so you feel confident and involved every step of the way.
The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment; seven dental chairs, CADCAM scanning and milling machine for tooth coloured restorations, a dedicated dental microscope, panoramic x-ray machine for full mouth x-rays, a Cone Beam CT scanner for 3D images used for detailed implant planning and for diagnostic purposes. We also have on site conventional CT scanners and an MRI for more extensive investigations.
We have the skill, know-how, and extensive experience in implant dentistry, cosmetic treatment and complex restorative cases that has earned us an outstanding reputation for excellence. To achieve this, we actively choose to manage complex cases as a team. Combined specialist appointments and planning sessions allow us to provide high quality care.
Our team are highly experienced at dealing with nervous or phobic patients, with sedation options being used when required. We are happy to have an informal chat, away from the dental chair. The clinic has a dedicated intravenous sedation unit set up and maintained to the standards that our consultant anaesthetist colleagues require to provide a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
